About Spend the Rich Money
Spend the Rich Money is a free browser game built around one simple idea: most people never get to feel what headline wealth numbers actually mean when you try to spend them in everyday-sized clicks.
Pick a persona, and their net worth becomes your budget. Tap Buy on items, watch Remaining fall and Spent % rise, and use Sell when you want to undo a purchase and try a different route. The goal isn’t financial advice—it’s scale literacy: turning “billions” into something your intuition can work with.
What it is
A playful simulator with themed item catalogs, milestones, receipts, and multiple persona pages so you can compare how different fortunes “behave” when you spend them.
What it isn’t
It’s not a bank account simulator, not an investment tool, and not a claim about how much cash anyone literally holds. Net worth in headlines is mostly tied to equity and market valuations; we simplify that into a spendable budget for gameplay and teaching.
How the game works
Choose a persona page (billionaires, celebrities, athletes, and some fictional personas).
Shop the catalog—from everyday items to absurd mega-ticket buys.
Track progress with the on-page HUD: remaining balance, percent spent, item counts, and a receipt view.
Unique items (when marked) can only be purchased once in a session—then they show as owned until you sell them back.
